Sam Ehlers – Senior Director Client Engagement

Joining the team this year in February, Sam is the third person by the identical first name now working at Tier4! Don’t get confused by just a name though! This Sam brandishes more than 20+ years of consultative sales experience for large enterprise software and services companies like EDS, HP, and Verint in product lifecycle (PLM) and customer relationship(CRM) management to improve the customer’s experience from concept to renewals. Sam most recently managed new business Marketing, Sales, and Channel efforts for entrepreneurial start-up companies in predictive analytics and cybersecurity in the IoT space.

Sam’s success in analyzing the needs of clients to create business value and deliver customer satisfaction, organizing and coordinating resources to build a strong team, and increasing the benefits to his customers are examples of Sam’s personal traits of Organizer, Collaborator, and Achiever.

Sam is active in local Atlanta professional organizations such as Technology Association of Georgia and High Tech Ministries, and helps in community groups located both near and far through service projects: orphanages in GA and TN, church rebuilding in East Point, refugee support in Clarkston, and relief to Atlanta’s downtown homeless. He has traveled distances to assist in disaster recovery efforts in Moore OK, Houston, and Haiti. He serves at a large metro church, active through their prayer and men’s ministries. When not busy either working or serving, Sam enjoys adventuring with his wife Joanie of 30+ years: hiking, sporting (tennis, golf), or taking a weekend trip.
